Product Description
The ILX56-MM is an InRAx Message Manager developed by ProSoft Technology specifically for the Rockwell ControlLogix platform. It plugs directly into a 1756 rack and exchanges data with the main CPU via the backplane, requiring no additional hardware for true "zero-touch" integration. The module features two 100M full-duplex Ethernet ports, capable of simultaneously operating Modbus-TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, DH+, DH485, ControlNet, and other protocols. Acting as a multi-protocol gateway, it enables seamless interoperability between ControlLogix and third-party systems such as Siemens, Schneider, GE, and Yokogawa.
The ILX56-MM utilizes industrial-grade components, offers an operating temperature range of 0–60°C, a storage temperature range of -40–80°C, an operating humidity range of 5–95% non-condensing, and resistance to 2g vibration and 15g shock. It is CE, RoHS, and C-CSA-US certified. The module supports hot swapping; configuration parameters can be backed up to a built-in CF card. In the event of a failure, communication can be restored within 2 minutes by simply replacing the module and importing the CF card, greatly reducing downtime.
