Construction, Interfaces, and Safety Features
Construction: This M10×1 metric-threaded probe features a 0 mm unthreaded tip section and a 130 mm overall case length. The probe tip is molded from polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) with the patented TipLoc® process, permanently bonding the tip to the probe body for enhanced mechanical strength and long-term reliability. The 75Ω triaxial cable is FEP-insulated and incorporates the patented CableLoc® design, delivering 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength. Without armor, this probe offers a lightweight form factor weighing approximately 0.3 kg.
Interfaces: The probe terminates in a miniature coaxial ClickLoc® connector with a FluidLoc® cable. The FluidLoc cable prevents oil and process fluids from migrating along the cable interior. The ClickLoc connector provides a finger-tight, corrosion-resistant gold-plated connection that audibly "clicks" when properly secured, eliminating the need for special tools. The 5.0-meter total cable length supports remote Proximitor® Sensor mounting.
Safety Features: Certified with CSA, ATEX, and IECEx approvals for hazardous area installation. The probe incorporates a Viton® O-ring to seal differential pressure between the probe tip and case. Fully compliant with API 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, and temperature stability. Designed for non-incendive operation when connected per drawing 140979.
