How should vibration exposure be checked?Use both stated bands: 1 mm peak-to-peak from 2 to 13.2 Hz, and 0.7 g from 13.2 to 150 Hz. Compare the mounting location with the relevant band rather than using one value across the entire frequency range.
Does the G3 contaminant specification establish approval for any hazardous area?No. ISA-S71.04-1985 Class G3 describes the airborne-contaminant specification. Hazardous-area suitability must separately match the actual product markings and the approved installation conditions.
Can technicians open the interface for internal field repair?No. The unit has no user-serviceable internal parts, and the installation instruction states that it should not be disassembled. Plan maintenance around controlled unit replacement rather than internal repair.
