Commission the fieldbus with the actual host and module software versions.

Isolate the drive supply and discharge stored energy before fitting the option.
Use approved PROFIBUS cable, shield clamps and suitable D-type network connectors.
Terminate both physical ends of each segment and retain termination power.
Set a unique valid node address and check mapping before enabling drive control.

Retain the approved installation drawing and record the controlled acceptance checks.
