Product Description
The 84661-49 is an industrial control component from the Series 84 product range, used in operator interface and switching applications. It features a robust construction with actuator materials available in plastic according to UL 94 V2 or anodised aluminium, while the actuator housing is available in plastic according to UL 94 V0 or anodised aluminium. The unit supports reliable operation in demanding industrial environments with an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +70 °C and a storage temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.The 84661-49 provides IP67 protection and IP40 front-side protection according to EN IEC 60529, making it suitable for applications where resistance against dust, moisture, and regular industrial conditions is required. It supports a front panel thickness range of 1 to 4 mm, with a fixing nut tightening torque of up to 80 Ncm. The actuator provides an operating force of 4.0 N ± 0.2 N with an actuating travel of 1.2 mm, and the mechanical lifetime reaches ≥1 million operating cycles.This component also supports industrial reliability requirements with climate resistance according to EN IEC 60068-2-30 and EN IEC 60068-2-78, including damp heat testing conditions. The electrostatic breakdown value reaches ≥15 kV for plastic cases and ≥5 kV for aluminium cases according to IEC 61000-4-2. It carries CE, UKCA, and RoHS conformity, and is suitable for use in control panels, machine interfaces, automation equipment, and industrial operating stations where durable switching performance is required.
