This module is one of the last General Electric products in the Mark V series to utilize Speedtronic control system technology. Speedtronic technology was first introduced with the Mark I series in the late 1960s. The DS215UCVBG3AJ module features an Ethernet connector, multiple LED status indicators, two configuration switch blocks, and a connector for a hard drive. Furthermore, the module may be installed in the Mark V series VME rack-mount assembly in a non-standard number of slots, four.
