Converts the electrical drive signal from the positioner’s printed wiring board into a proportional pneumatic output pressure to stroke the actuator
FIELDVUE DVC6200, DVC6200p, DVC6005, and DVC7K-H series digital valve controllers (as a recommended spare part)
Drive signal derived from the 4–20 mA loop input (controlled by the positioner microprocessor)
Internal coil resistance: 150 Ω to 250 Ω nominal at 20 °C
Operating voltage: supplied by the positioner’s internal circuitry (loop-powered)
Nominal output pressure range: 0.4 to 2.0 bar (6 to 30 psig) as an intermediate signal to the relay
Maximum supply pressure: 10.0 bar (145 psig)
Steady-state air consumption: ≤ 0.28 to 0.36 m³/hr (10 to 13 scfh) at 1.4 bar (20 psig) supply
