The IC600CB524 arithmetic control module by the GE Fanuc is part of the GE Series Six product line.
This arithmetic control module is intended to perform the arithmetic and logical operations for the Series
Six CPUs. It contains 2 LED indicators which are the “RUN” and “CHECK” LEDs, and which are designed
to indicate the CPU status and help in simplifying troubleshooting. The GE Fanuc IC600CB524 module can
be used in different CPU models, including Model 60, Model 600, and Model 6000 CPUs, as well as in the
CPUs from the Series Six product line, thus helping to reduce the spare parts inventory. Another useful feature
is the bit-slice architecture, which provides high-speed processing and supports all the instruction sets of the GE
Series Six CPU, including the expanded set for increased functionality and backward compatibility.
