The DS3800NMEC1K1K is a motor exciter control board for the Mark IV series from GE. The DS3800NMEC1K1K
and other circuit boards in the Mark IV line are used to run and control gas and steam turbines. Turbines use an
internal combustion engine to mix fuel and air to create a controlled explosion. This explosion creates a series of
gases that are under pressure and force their way out causing the turbine to spin.
