Product Description
The TQ403 111-403-000-012 is a non-contact eddy-current proximity transducer for measuring shaft vibration and relative shaft position. It offers a linear measuring range of 0.75 to 12.75 mm and a frequency response from DC to 20 kHz. The probe is used with conductive metal targets and outputs a signal that can be processed by machinery monitoring systems during normal equipment operation.The probe operates in ambient temperatures from -40°C to +180°C and can withstand temperatures up to +220°C for short periods. The probe assembly has an IP68 protection rating, allowing it to operate in environments where dust, water, and oil are present. The TQ403 is matched with the IQS450 signal conditioner and can also be connected with the EA403 extension cable as part of the same calibrated measurement system.This transducer is used on rotating equipment including steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps, generators, and electric motors. It is installed to monitor shaft vibration and relative shaft position during equipment operation, with measurement data used for machine condition monitoring and maintenance planning. The sensing system allows compatible components to be replaced individually while remaining within the specified calibration configuration.
