The 21000 series is an all-metal proximity probe housing assembly intended for external probe mounting.
According to the official Bently Nevada datasheet, a 21000/24701/164818 housing assembly can consist of:
A dome cover that screws into the housing body
Threaded ports for conduit connections
A probe sleeve
O-rings
A reverse-mount proximity probe
A thread seal
Optional conduit fittings
An optional standoff adapter
For the 21000 series specifically, the housing uses an aluminum body with a 304 stainless steel sleeve.

A typical application begins with a proximity probe that must reach a measurement location through the machine case.
The 21000 housing is installed externally, while its probe sleeve positions the reverse-mount proximity probe toward the required measurement location. The dome cover and conduit connection arrangement provide the external housing structure around the probe installation.
For 21000-16-05-00-055-03-02, the selected configuration provides:
3300 XL 8 mm probe → 0.5 m probe cable → no standoff adapter → 5.5 in probe penetration → fitting option 03 → 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread
