Product Description
The 21000-28-05-00-021-03-02 is a 21000 series proximity probe housing assembly supplied with a 3300 XL 8 mm reverse mount proximity probe featuring selectable hazardous area approvals. It includes a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable, while the housing is configured without a standoff adapter and provides a 2.1 in (53.3 mm) probe penetration length. The assembly uses an aluminum housing body combined with a 304 stainless steel probe sleeve, providing a durable enclosure for externally mounted proximity probe installations.The housing is built with a threaded dome cover, conduit connection ports, O-rings, thread seal, and a probe sleeve that securely positions the reverse mount proximity probe. This configuration also includes the E03 fitting package, consisting of one 3/4-14 NPT plug, one 3/4-14 to 1/2-14 NPT reducer, and one cable seal grip with interchangeable grommets supporting cable diameters of 1/8 to 3/16 in, 1/4 to 5/16 in, and 5/16 to 3/8 in. The mounting thread is 3/4-14 NPT, making it suitable for standard threaded installation points.The supplied 3300 XL 8 mm probe is rated for operating and storage temperatures from -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F). The housing assembly complies with API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and is available for applications requiring hazardous area approvals when matched with the appropriate probe configuration.
