The Bently Nevada 21000-28-05-00-133-04-02 is a 21000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly used for externally mounting proximity probes on rotating machinery. This configuration includes a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with multiple approvals, a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable, no standoff adapter, a 13.3 in probe penetration, one 3/4-14 NPT plug, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. The housing is manufactured with an aluminum body and is intended to protect the probe while providing a stable installation point in machinery monitoring systems. It is commonly installed on equipment that requires continuous shaft vibration and position measurement.The housing assembly complies with API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and is available for applications requiring CSA hazardous area approvals when configured with approved components. The threaded ports allow secure conduit connections, while the removable dome cover provides convenient access during installation and maintenance. When the probe penetration exceeds 12 in (300 mm), additional sleeve support is recommended to reduce the possibility of resonance during operation. The probe penetration adjustment range is 13 mm (±0.5 in), allowing installation flexibility for different machine cases.
