Product Description
The 21000-28-05-15-050-03-02 is used in machinery monitoring systems where a proximity probe is mounted outside the machine casing.The assembly can be installed following API 670 recommendations and is commonly found on compressors, steam turbines, gas turbines, pumps, fans, and other industrial rotating equipment where continuous vibration monitoring is required.It is often fitted to machines that run for long periods, including compressors, turbines, pumps, and large motors. The housing is made from aluminum, while the probe sleeve is 304 stainless steel, giving the assembly a durable metal construction for industrial use. This version is supplied with a 0.5 m (20 in) cable arrangement and a 3/4-14 NPT threaded connection. It is intended for 3300 XL 8 mm probe systems, with a standard probe gap of 1.3 mm (0.05 in) during installation. The assembly can be used in ambient temperatures from -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +350°F).
