The Bently Nevada 21000-28-05-40-026-04-02 is a 21000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly used for external installation of proximity probes on rotating machinery. This configuration includes a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with selectable hazardous area approvals, a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable, a 4.0 in standoff adapter, and a 2.6 in probe penetration. It also uses one 3/4-14 NPT plug and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread, providing a practical connection method for industrial monitoring systems.The assembly is made for mounting proximity probes while allowing easier access for probe adjustment and replacement during maintenance. The housing uses a dome cover, threaded conduit ports and sealing components to protect the probe connection in industrial environments.
