The 3300 NSv extension cable uses a 75 Ω coaxial cable with FEP insulation.
The official cable design includes:
Miniature male coaxial connector
Miniature female coaxial connector
FEP-insulated coaxial cable
Stainless steel ferrules
For the 03 configuration, the cable is supplied without stainless steel armor and includes a connector protector.

Centrifugal Compressors
The 3300 XL NSv system is suited to centrifugal air compressors where standard proximity sensors may have insufficient mounting clearance.
Refrigeration Compressors
Its compact sensor system makes it useful where the available counterbore and probe installation area are limited.
Process Gas Compressors
The NSv system can monitor rotating machinery in process applications where compact proximity measurement hardware is required.
Small Shaft Applications
Bently Nevada identifies the NSv system as suitable for radial vibration measurement on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in).
It can also be used for axial position measurements on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in).
