The Bently Nevada 3500/42M is a high-performance triple modular redundant (TMR) vibration monitor designed for mission-critical machinery protection. This advanced module provides three independent voting channels for continuous monitoring of radial vibration, ensuring maximum reliability in power generation, oil & gas, and industrial applications. It supports two dynamic inputs (velocity or acceleration) with 4-20mA outputs, offering a measurement range of 0-25.4mm/s pk or 0-50.8mm/s pk (user-selectable). The 3500/42M 140734-02 Proximitor/Seismic Monitor features automatic sensor validation, OK/Alert/Danger logic, and dynamic signal trending for predictive maintenance. Its rugged design operates in -30°C to +65°C environments with EMI/RFI immunity, while LED status indicators simplify troubleshooting. Compatible with API 670/ISO 10816 standards, this module integrates seamlessly with Bently Nevada’s 3500 series racks, providing TÜV-certified SIL 2 safety for turbines, compressors, and pumps. The <500ms response time and voting logic prevent false trips, making it ideal for protecting high-value assets against unbalance, misalignment, and mechanical faults.
