The Bently Nevada 74712-06-05-02-00 is a Seismoprobe Velocity Transducer used for vibration monitoring on rotating machinery. It is designed for measuring absolute vibration velocity on equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors. The unit uses moving-coil technology to convert mechanical vibration into an electrical signal, providing stable measurement data for machine condition monitoring systems.The 74712-06-05-02-00 provides a sensitivity of 20 mV/mm/s (500 mV/in/s) and operates without an external power supply. It supports vibration measurement applications with a frequency response up to 1 kHz (60,000 CPM), with available low-frequency options including 4.5 Hz, 10 Hz, and 15 Hz. The sensor is suitable for industrial environments where continuous monitoring of equipment vibration is required.This model features a 0 ±10° mounting angle configuration with a 10 Hz (600 CPM) response option, no base mounting design, and a 1/2-20 UNF-3A stud connection. The output signal is taken across terminals A and B, with a 10 kΩ calibration load used between the same terminals. The sensor provides ±5% sensitivity accuracy when properly terminated and installed at the calibration angle.The 74712-06-05-02-00 can operate in temperatures from -29°C to +204°C (-20°F to +400°F) and supports demanding applications in power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical, and industrial machinery systems. With its reliable velocity measurement capability and compatibility with Bently Nevada monitoring equipment, it is commonly used for vibration analysis, machine protection, and predictive maintenance programs.
