Product Description
The Bently Nevada 86691-00680-0350-90-05 is a 3300 XL series eddy current proximity probe used for vibration and position monitoring on rotating machinery. It is a customized heavy-duty probe configuration with a 68.0 mm unthreaded tip section, 350 mm case length, stainless steel armored cable option, and 0.5 m integral pigtail cable. The probe works as part of the Bently Nevada proximity transducer system, providing non-contact measurement of shaft movement for machinery protection and condition monitoring. It is commonly installed on large rotating equipment such as steam turbines, compressors, generators and other critical machines where accurate shaft position data is required. The 3300 XL 25 mm proximity system uses eddy current technology and provides a 0.787 V/mm (20 mV/mil) output, with a 12.7 mm (500 mils) linear range for displacement measurement applications. The probe is used together with a compatible extension cable and Proximitor Sensor to transfer vibration and position signals to monitoring equipment. The armored cable construction helps protect the connection in industrial environments where mechanical protection is needed.
