This module boasts a comprehensive suite of features tailored for versatile application needs. Each channel can be flexibly configured by users as an analog input, analog output, digital input, or digital output, with channels 15 to 18 additionally supporting pulse input. It features open wire detection for enhanced reliability and a fast scan function for prioritized I/O module scanning. The module is equipped with electronic short-circuit protection to ensure safety and stability. Safe-state behaviors (FAILOPT) can be individually configured on a per-channel basis for digital and analog outputs, providing customized control options. It also supports HART 7 protocol for analog I/O communication and operates reliably within an extended ambient temperature range of -40 to +70°C.
