Description
Branch Circuit Protection must be provided for the MMC Smart Drive in accordance with NFPA 79 7.2.3 and 7.2.10. Bussmann or equivalent Class RK1, J, or CC dual element time delay type fuses should be used as the branch circuit SCPD (Short Circuit Protection Device). Supplemental UL1007 protectors shall not be used to provide Branch Circuit Protection. Fuses are sized based on the drive input current rating and maximum SCPD rating designations shown in NFPA 79 Table 7.2.10.1. Input mains conductor size is based on designations shown in NFPA Table 7.2.10.4 and 13.5.1.
