The IC600LX612 memory module is a 4k logic and 8k register memory module that is manufactured by GE Fanuc.
The register memory module is used with the central processing unit or CPU in the PLC. It provides 16-bit words
for the register memory data. The module is battery-backed. This memory can be used with different functional
levels, including the basic, extended, or advanced levels. The memory module comprises a 2-tier circuit board with
CMOS memory on the upper tier and the motherboard and control circuitry on the bottom tier. The module has LED
indicators marked as the “Parity” and “Battery” LEDs. The indicators are visible on the faceplate of the module. The
“Parity” LED turns off when the register memory experiences a parity error, and the “Battery” LED turns on when
the onboard lithium battery is operational.
