Product Description
The FS-TSDO-0824 is a 24 Vdc fail-safe digital output Field Termination Assembly (FTA) module configured with 8 discrete safety output channels. Acting as the field-side termination block, this assembly functions as the physical wiring hub that connects high-power field loads to the system's central logic rails via a standard system interconnection cable (SIC-C). Each of its 8 channels operates on a nominal 24 Vdc loop voltage and is built to safely handle a continuous field output current of 2.0 A per channel, making it robust enough to directly drive industrial solenoid valves, interposing relays, alarm horns, and small motor-operated valves. For total system isolation and localized fault containment, every single output path is fitted with its own independent, onboard 2.5 A fast-acting fuse (factory-standardized as a Schurter 0001.1008 or equivalent rated for up to 250 Vac / 300 Vdc), which instantly cuts power to a specific loop in the event of a field-side short circuit before it can trigger an entire panel trip. The physical hardware layout consists of a compact circuit board assembly that snaps directly onto standard TS32 or TS35 × 7.5 mm top-hat industrial DIN rails inside steel Rittal cabinet enclosures.
