Product Description
The 21000-16-05-00-075-00-02 is a 21000 Series proximity probe housing assembly used with a 3300 XL 8 mm reverse mount proximity probe. The assembly is supplied with a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable and is configured without a standoff adapter. It features a 2.9 in (73.7 mm) probe penetration length and uses a 1-11½ NPT mounting thread for installation on compatible equipment. The housing body is made from aluminum, while the probe sleeve is made from 304 stainless steel, providing a solid structure for industrial machinery applications. The assembly includes the E03 fitting package, which contains one 1-11½ NPT plug, one 1-11½ to 3/4-14 NPT reducer, and one cable seal grip with interchangeable grommets for 1/8–3/16 in, 1/4–5/16 in, and 5/16–3/8 in cable sizes. The supplied probe supports operating and storage temperatures from -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F) and is available with selectable hazardous area approvals. The housing meets API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and is commonly used on rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors where stable probe mounting and accurate vibration or position monitoring are required. For longer probe sleeve installations exceeding 304 mm (12 in), additional sleeve support is recommended to help maintain probe stability during operation.
