Product Description
The 21000-28-05-00-031-01-02 is a 21000 Series proximity probe housing assembly with a 3300 XL 8 mm reverse mount probe and a 0.5 m (20 in) cable. It comes with a 1.4 in (35.6 mm) probe penetration length and a standoff adapter. The mounting connection is 3/4-14 NPT. The package includes the E01 fitting kit with a 3/4-14 NPT plug, 3/4-14 to 1/2-14 NPT reducer, and cable seal grip with grommets for 1/8–3/16 in, 1/4–5/16 in, and 5/16–3/8 in cable sizes. The housing body is aluminum, and the probe sleeve is 304 stainless steel. The probe operates and stores within -51°C to +177°C (-60°F to +351°F) and is available with selectable hazardous area approvals. The assembly is used on rotating machines such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and motors for vibration and position monitoring. It also meets API 670 requirements for external proximity probe mounting. Additional sleeve support is recommended for probe sleeve lengths above 304 mm (12 in).
