The Bently Nevada 32000-28-05-15-080-03-02 is a configured 32000 Series Metric Proximity Probe Housing Assembly designed for mounting proximity probes through the machine case.According to the official Bently Nevada 31000/32000 ordering information, this configuration combines a 3300 XL 8 mm probe with multiple approvals, a 0.5 m (20 in) probe cable, a 150 mm standoff adapter, 80 mm probe penetration, the Option 03 fitting configuration, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.The 31000/32000 housing provides external access to the proximity probe and its extension cable, allowing probe gap adjustment or probe replacement without disassembling the machine.

Application and Use Scenarios
Radial Vibration Measurement
Bently Nevada states that the 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are typically used with radially mounted transducers for vibration measurements.
When the housing is used to measure radial vibration, the machine casing must be affixed to the bearing to obtain an accurate relative vibration signal.
Keyphasor Measurement
The housing can also be used for radially mounted transducers performing Keyphasor measurements.
The external housing arrangement protects the installed proximity probe while maintaining access for adjustment and maintenance.
