Why NSv Fits Tight Installations
The NSv system uses a smaller probe tip and smaller probe case than the standard 3300 XL 8 mm system.
Bently Nevada specifically identifies it for installations where mounting space is restricted.
The smaller probe configuration is useful where counterbores, side views, and other mechanical constraints limit the space available for a conventional proximity probe.
The system is particularly suitable for radial vibration measurements on shafts smaller than:51 mm (2 in) and axial position measurements on flat targets smaller than:15 mm (0.6 in).
