Theory of Operation
The CB2W100-032 is a 32‑foot (9.75‑meter) interconnect cable designed for Bently Nevada vibration monitoring systems. It serves as the signal transmission link between a compatible sensor (such as a 3300 XL NSv probe or a 190501 Velomitor velocity transducer) and the monitoring rack. The cable features a MIL‑C‑5015, two‑socket, splash‑proof connector on the sensor end, with a locking ring, adapter seal, and O‑ring included to ensure a secure, environmentally sealed connection. The cable body is constructed from 20 AWG twisted‑pair, shielded conductors with a yellow Teflon® jacket, providing excellent resistance to oil, chemicals, and high temperatures. In operation, the CB2W100‑032 transmits the raw signal from the sensing element to the monitoring system without requiring external power, maintaining signal integrity through its double‑layer EMI shielding. It is compatible with Bently Nevada 3300 and 3500 series monitoring systems and is widely used in turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators.
