04 — One 3/4-14 NPT plug only
02 — 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.
The official datasheet states that mounting-thread option 02 must be ordered when the standoff-adapter option is not 00. This exact configuration uses a 20 standoff, so the 02 mounting option is consistent with the manufacturer's ordering rules.
Housing Architecture
External Probe Access
One of the main functions of the 21000 housing architecture is external probe installation.
The housing allows technicians to access the proximity probe from outside the machine casing. This is useful when the probe needs adjustment, inspection, or replacement without opening major machine components.
The dome cover provides access to the internal probe and connection area, while the sleeve establishes the probe's mechanical path toward the measurement target.
Standoff Adapter
Option 20 specifies a: 2.0 in standoff adapter
The 21000 ordering system allows standoff dimensions from: 1.5 in (38 mm) minimum to 7.5 in (191 mm) maximum in recommended increments of: 0.5 in (13 mm).
The standoff allows the housing position to be adapted to the machine installation geometry.
