Product Description
The 31000-00-00-15-035-01-02 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is used for mounting and protecting proximity probes on rotating equipment for vibration and shaft position monitoring. This version is supplied without a probe or extension cable, allowing it to be installed with compatible monitoring components already available. It includes a 1.5-inch standoff adapter, 3.5-inch probe penetration, one 3/4-14 NPT fitting with two plugs, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. The housing provides a secure mounting point for external probe installation and allows easier access for probe adjustment or replacement during maintenance. It meets API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and can be used with approved transducer systems in hazardous area applications. The assembly is suitable for compressors, turbines, pumps, and other critical rotating machinery where stable probe positioning and reliable monitoring are required.
