Product Description
The 31000-00-00-15-039-01-02 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly is used for mounting and protecting proximity probes installed on rotating machinery for vibration and Keyphasor measurements. This model is supplied without a probe or extension cable and can be matched with compatible monitoring components already in use. It includes a 1.5-inch standoff adapter, 3.9-inch probe penetration, one 3/4-14 NPT fitting with two plugs, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread. The housing provides external access to the probe and extension cable, allowing gap adjustment or probe replacement without removing the machine components. It is made with a corrosion-resistant PPS housing and stainless steel parts for industrial service conditions. The assembly meets API 670 requirements for externally mounted proximity probe housings and can be used with approved transducer systems in intrinsically safe hazardous areas. It is commonly installed on compressors, turbines, pumps, and other rotating equipment where stable probe mounting and reliable vibration monitoring are needed.
