The 31000-00-00-15-047-01-02 is a non‑explosion‑proof PPS probe housing assembly supplied without a probe or cable, intended for field installation of compatible 3300 XL 8 mm, NSv, or 11 mm transducers. It features a 1.5‑inch standoff adapter and a 4.7‑inch probe penetration sleeve, yielding a total insertion depth of 6.2 inches (158 mm) for thick casings or recessed targets, with a 3/4‑14 NPT mounting thread and one conduit fitting for cable entry. The glass‑reinforced PPS body with conductive fibers provides Type 4X and IP66 environmental protection (water/dust resistant) but is not rated for explosive atmospheres; stainless steel components and neoprene/Viton O‑rings ensure corrosion resistance and sealing. External access permits gap adjustment and probe replacement without machine disassembly, and the combined C+D dimension stays below the 305 mm resonance threshold, so extra sleeve support is unnecessary. Compliant with API 670, the housing is suited for radial vibration or Keyphasor® measurements when the machine casing is rigidly attached to the bearing, and it withstands a retaining nut torque of 29.4 N·m and impacts of 7 J (ambient) and 4 J at ‑39 °C to +115 °C.
