Target Requirements
For correct application, Baker Hughes specifies:
Minimum Flat Target: 15.2 mm
Minimum Shaft: 50.8 mm
Recommended Minimum Shaft: 76.2 mm
To limit cross-talk to 50 mV or less, general minimum probe-tip separation is:
40 mm (1.6 in) for axial position
38 mm (1.5 in) for radial vibration.
Probe Construction
The probe tip uses: Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) and the case uses:
AISI 303 or 304 stainless steel.
The standard probe cable is: 75 Ω triaxial FEP-insulated cable.
The patented CableLoc design provides a maximum rated probe case-to-lead pull strength of: 330 N (75 lbf).
