This variant pushes case length to 220 mm (with M10×1 threads, no armor), offering the deepest insertion among the 330103 series. The 5.0 m system again uses FluidLoc cable without a connector protector and lacks certifications. The extended case length does not affect the electrical transfer function; the probe’s sensing coil remains at the tip, and the cable resistance increases slightly (approximately 8.17 Ω for the 3 m probe section, plus extension), but the Proximitor compensates for cable losses. In practice, the eddy‑current loop generates an output that is inversely proportional to the gap from 0.25 to 2.3 mm, with a recommended bias of ‑9 Vdc for radial vibration. This configuration addresses extreme mounting depth requirements while maintaining full interchangeability with other XL 8 mm components.
