3300 XL 8 mm System
The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System is designed for noncontacting proximity measurement.
Bently Nevada positions the system as part of its machine condition monitoring sensor portfolio for mission-critical machinery.
The complete proximity measurement architecture uses a proximity probe together with an extension cable and Proximitor Sensor.
Within this architecture, the 330130-040-11-05 extension cable provides the cable connection required between compatible components of the proximity transducer system.
How the System Works
Role of the Extension Cable
The extension cable is one component of the complete proximity transducer system.
The basic signal chain is:
Proximity Probe → Extension Cable → Proximitor Sensor → Monitoring System
The extension cable therefore should not be treated as a standalone measuring instrument.
Its role is to connect the compatible proximity probe to the Proximitor Sensor as part of the complete transducer system.
For equipment selection and replacement, the extension cable should be matched to the appropriate probe and Proximitor configuration specified for the 3300 XL 8 mm system.
