Product Overview
The Bently Nevada 330702-00-10-10-01-00 is a 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe used as part of the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. This configuration has a 3/8-24 UNF thread, no armor, 0.0-inch unthreaded length, 1.0-inch overall case length, and 1.0 m (3.3 ft) total probe length. It uses a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with standard cable, and agency approval is not required.
The complete 3300 XL 11 mm system provides a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid-film bearing machinery. Its larger 11 mm probe tip provides a longer linear measurement range than the standard 3300 XL 8 mm system.

Axial Thrust Position Measurement
Bently Nevada identifies axial or thrust position measurement as one of the primary applications of the 3300 XL 11 mm system.
The extended linear range is useful where axial shaft movement needs to be monitored over a larger displacement range.
Steam Turbine Differential Expansion
The system is specifically intended for:
Ramp differential expansion measurements on steam turbines
This is one of the applications where the longer linear range of the 11 mm probe system is required.
Reciprocating Compressor Rod Position
Bently Nevada specifies the 3300 XL 11 mm system for:
Rod position measurement on reciprocating compressors
The system can monitor changes in the position of the compressor rod without direct mechanical contact.
7200 Series Upgrade Applications
The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the older:
7200 Series 11 mm Transducer System and 7200 Series 14 mm Transducer System
However, Bently Nevada specifies that when upgrading from a 7200 Series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components.
The monitoring system must also be updated.
For installations using the 3500 Monitoring System, the configuration software must support the 3300 XL 11 mm system.
Existing 3300 Monitoring Systems may require modification.
